Liam Large – Blues- und Mambo-Mix für Sofrito

Liam Large von Jukebox Jam hat für das Label und Soundsystem Sofrito einen tropischen Mix beigesteuert.

For our second guest mix of the year we’re lucky to have a selection from Liam Large – head honcho of the London-based Jukebox Jam club night and record label. Liam’s been spinning great sounds across London for donkey’s years, and here he digs deep into dirty Mambo Blues, Calypso and RnB for a selection of seriously vintage sounds that sound as fresh today as when they first came out over 50 years ago!

The Jukebox Jam cub night takes place on the last Friday of every month at the Alley Cat (Denmark Street, London WC2H 8LP), and the Jukebox Jam crew play every thursday at the Blues Kitchen. Don’t forget to check their excellent record label (in conjunction with Jazzman Records), a one-stop shop for the hottest jumping RnB and Blues ever laid on wax (or shellac…)
Don’t forget to check the DJ double team of Liam & Jazzman Gerald at the next Sofrito Tropical Warehouse Bash in London on 19th February, spinning heavy Mambo, Latin & other tittyshaking grooves….
